10th year anniversary collection for retrosuperfuture.

SUPER by Retrosuperfuture® is a leading brand producing outstanding contemporary eyewear. Founded in Italy in 2007 by Daniel Beckerman, Super has become highly popular for its eclectic collection of colourful acetate sunglasses. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Milan-based brand teamed up with the department of Master in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship at ÉCAL to create an anniversary eyewear collection.

Savvas Laz contributed a design to the collection, which was given the auspicious name “Antiquity”. Inspired by the laurel wreath — a symbol of glory and victory in Ancient Greece — the design reinterprets one of Retrosuperfuture’s most iconic pieces, the Ilaria, to create a collectible pair of sunglasses that celebrate this special moment in the brand’s history.
